My passions are photography and Linux; I enjoy combining the two.
College and high-school photography courses began my lifelong interest in photography. The digital revolution has been a great motivator to shoot more photos and improve my skills. I tend to shoot mostly nature, landscapes, and some events, mostly for personal enjoyment, but occasionally for hire.
My current camera is a Pentax K10D DSLR with the following lenses:
Pentax DA 16-45mm F4 ED AL
Pentax DA 50-200mm F4-5.6 ED
Pentax DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED
Tamron SP AF90mm F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1
Promaster Spectrum 7 1.7x AF Teleconverter
Pentax AF-540FGZ Flash
I enjoy shooting in Raw mode and processing all of my photos using free (open-source) software running on the Linux operating system.
